As a third generation photographer with a camera in his hands since a young age, Jörg has been photographing for over 30 years. He received formal training in fine art photography and continues to attend educational programs and master classes. He finds the best way of learning is through teaching, which he enjoys very much. Jörg is an active member of the Professional Photographers of the Greater Bay Area (PPGBA) and serves on its Board of Directors. Jörg is a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) through the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). He is also certified by Special Kids Photography of America (SPKA), with specific training to sensitively work with children with special needs.

Jörg's passion is photographing people. He puts his subjects at ease, lets them have fun, and creates images that truly capture their personalities. Options include fine art portraits and glamour photography, maternity, baby and family portraiture, as well as corporate and actor/model headshots and portfolio images. His portrait prints have been widely recognized in many competitions. He has won several awards and his work has been shown in group exhibitions and featured in publications. One of Joerg’s images has recently been accepted into the General Collection of the 114th International Exhibition of Professional Photography.

Jörg also photographs family and corporate events, including weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, corporate parties and openings, and commercial product images. Jörg combines artistic creativity with professional reliability. He likes working with people and believes that the process has to be enjoyed for the product to be excellent, and this shows in his work. He is available by appointment for portrait sessions at his studio or the location of your choice and for your corporate or family event.
